THE WORLD CHRONICLE
The World Remembers What Players Do
Rebirth is being built so the important events of a realm do not vanish into old chat logs or forgotten screenshots. The World Chronicle is intended to turn wars, discoveries, cities, alliances and political changes into lasting realm history.

PLAYER-CREATED HISTORY
A persistent world needs a memory
If civilizations rise and fall but nothing records why they mattered, persistence loses much of its meaning. The World Chronicle is being built to preserve the turning points that give a realm identity across Ages and generations of players. Your civilization may disappear. Its story doesn't have to.
What can become part of realm history
The Chronicle is intended to focus on events that change how players understand the world around them, rather than recording every routine action.
Wars
Major conflicts can record who fought, what changed and why the struggle mattered.
Alliances
Political partnerships and blocs can become part of the context that defines an Age.
Discoveries
Important expeditions and first discoveries can leave a record for players who arrive later.
Cities
Settlements that become strategically or culturally important can remain visible in the story of the realm.
Realm events
World events and the way civilizations respond to them can become shared historical milestones.
Political changes
Shifts in power, borders and relationships can explain how one era became the next.
FROM EVENT TO HISTORY
The Chronicle should explain how the realm became what it is
A list of timestamps is not enough. Rebirth is being built toward a Chronicle that gives future players useful context: which civilizations shaped a conflict, what was discovered, how political relationships changed and why a place or event became important.
Events
Recorded
Important moments are selected from the activity of the realm.
Context
Connected
History becomes more useful when events relate to places, powers and earlier changes.
Legacy
Discoverable
Later players should be able to encounter the story that existed before them.

LEGACY
Power is temporary. Context can survive it.
Veyrlands is not a match you win and forget. Rebirth is being built around the idea that civilizations become part of a shared world — and that the most important things they do should remain visible after their moment has passed.
